Reports

Open More → Reports in the KennelFetch app. Every figure comes from your books in KennelFetch, so the reports always agree with each other and with your month-end summary.

Money reports (owners)

• Daily takings: money taken on one day by card, cash and check, less refunds.
• Revenue by category: lodging, add-ons and fees, less discounts and refunds, with a month-by-month view. A stay that crosses a month end counts each night in its own month.
• Deposits held: deposits paid for stays that haven't been charged yet.
• Credits outstanding: credit on account you owe households. Expired credit isn't included.
• Taxes collected: sales tax on the charges you posted, by tax rate. Deposits carry no tax until the stay is charged.
• Outstanding balances: who owes you money, and for how many days.
• Month-end summary: the whole month on one page, checked against your Stripe payouts.

Staff don't see money reports.

Operations reports (owners and staff)

• Arrivals and departures: who's coming and going each day, with any balance due. Up to 31 days at a time.
• Occupancy: how full each unit type is every night. Closed nights show as closed. Up to 93 days.
• Cancellations and no-shows (owners): cancelled stays and no-shows, the fees charged or waived, and what happened to each deposit.

Choosing dates

Each report uses your kennel's time zone. Pick a day, a "balances at the end of" date, a month, or a range with the quick choices at the top. Ranges can be up to a year (366 days).

Export a spreadsheet

Tap Export CSV on any report to get the same rows as a spreadsheet file. On a phone, the share sheet opens so you can save it to Files, email it to your bookkeeper, or open it in Excel, Numbers or Google Sheets. Money is in dollars with two decimals, plus a currency column.
